to benefit Hummelstown Service Organizations and Projects

Bring an Appetite and Help Local Service Organizations

Come eat your way around the Square in Hummelstown while supporting local service

organizations and projects! 

The Hummelstown Business and Professional Association (HBPA)

will again be hosting A Taste of Hummelstown on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 2 to 4

pm on the Square in Hummelstown.

We will be offering “A Taste of Hummelstown” party plates for your eating pleasure! The

cost is $2 each at the beginning of the ticket line.

A wide variety of palate pleasers are to be served by local restaurants, businesses and

organizations. Sampling tables are set up on the sidewalks around Center Square offering the

donated “tastes”. Participants will indulge in appetizers, salads, side dishes, beverages and

entrées as they walk leisurely around Center Square, meeting the local business community. No

one ever walks away hungry!!

Music to “sample by” will be provided by DJ Scott Mateer, to further add to the 

ambience of the event.

Tickets for A Taste of Hummelstown are on sale now through the HBPA and will also be

available starting September 20th at the following locations: Chocolates by Tina Marie, Toys on

the Square, Borough office and 1762 Tavern at the Warwick Hotel.

Ticket holders will exchange their tickets for a wristband and dining guide the day of the event at

any one of the two ticket exchange tables hosted by Member’s 1st Federal Credit Union. Ticket

exchange tables will be located near Bill Maloney Men’s Wear and Tailor Shop, and Toys on the

Square. Municipal parking lots are in proximity. A pre-purchased ticket is a $20.00 donation for

an adult and a $10.00 donation for a child under age 14 (6 and under are free). 

Detailed instructions will be given during ticket purchase. Please note, this is an all-ages event, but

proper identification will be required at the ticket-exchange table for anyone who appears

under 30. 

Special wristbands will be given to the 21 and over since wine and beer sampling will

be available. Tickets are limited and sell out fast to make sure you get yours early!

Profits from the sale of tickets for A Taste of Hummelstown will be donated to a variety of

Hummelstown service organizations and charities. Last year’s event benefited The Hummelstown

Food Bank, The Hummelstown Fire Company, The Hummelstown Summer Rec Program, The

Hummelstown Police Dept., The Hummelstown Fire Police, Hummelstown’s Communities that

Care and projects such as The Planters on the Square.
