It’s that time of year again! Hummelstown Holiday Happenings 2023 will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2023, from 1–5 p.m. and is sponsored by the Hummelstown Business and Professional Association.
Hummelstown will be bustling with many holiday activities. Local businesses and organizations will be hosting festive activities such as cookie decorating, making ornaments and crafts, photo stations, refreshment stations, and so much more! This is a great way to put everyone in the holiday spirit! DJ Scott Mateer will be providing music.
Don’t miss your chance to visit Santa on the Square and share your lists with him. Santa’s reindeer are all resting up for their long flight, but do not worry; the Hummelstown Fire Company will be giving Santa a ride to the Square on one of their fire trucks! Even though it’s his busiest time of year, he always makes time to stop by Hummelstown Holiday Happenings.
From 2 to 4 PM, the Hershey Trolley Works will be providing free transportation around town to the different Trolley stops, thanks to our wonderful sponsors.
To end a magical day, join us on the Square at 5:30 PM for the annual Tree Lighting sponsored by the Hummelstown Community Foundation. Santa and Miss Hummelstown will light the tree while the Hummelstown Community Singers lead the caroling.

Zion Lutheran Church located at 100 W Main St. Hummelstown, will hold a mini-holiday concert of beloved carols with the Choir, Bells and Instruments at 3pm for Holiday Happenings.
American Legion Auxiliary Unit 265 will be at The 1762 (12 W Main St) handing out reindeer antlers to the children.
DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) at the Henderson House at 31 E Main St Hummelstown will sponsor children's activities
including coloring and old-fashioned games, and will serve hot cider and snacks.
Hummelstown Fire Department Holiday Happenings wouldn't be complete without Santa. Santa loves stopping by Hummelstown to listen to all of the children read their wish lists for the Holidays, and we just got word he is planning his visit for December 3rd.
Santa's reindeers are resting up for their big trip, so his friends at the Hummelstown Fire Department are going to help him out. Santa will be arriving on the square, at 1 PM, on a fire truck! Santa will be arriving at M&T Bank, at 1pm, on a fire truck!
Make sure to stop by and see him as you walk throughout town! Also remember to thank our fire fighters for all they do for our community!
There will also be a Vendor Show and enjoy the soup and sub sale from 10am to 3pm on 12/3 at the Firehouse at 249 E Main St. Hummelstown.
